Tommy Robinson RELEASED by police as he claims he 'defended himself' in St.Pancras 'a

Tommy Robinson has broken his silence and claimed he "defended himself" after being released on bail following his arrest last night.

The 42-year-old, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was detained at Luton Airport at 6.25pm yesterday, after boarding an EasyJet flight from Faro Airport in Portugal.

The British Transport Police confirmed earlier today that a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire was released on police bail until September 8 while enquiries continue.

Now, Robinson has taken to social media to speak out for the first time following his bail.

Speaking on X, formerly Twitter, he said: "I've got to be honest, one of the worst week's of my life.

"I was worried, very worried, I thought I was being stitched up."
